My Verdict
Both teams are stronger team that have potential in winning this match up , Paraguay have been a dark horse team that have claim the victory over previous gold medalist , while Japan being a regular in Olympics games , have been showing consistent result in their games . I will like to see this match being a narrow victory between this 2 teams . Paraguay coming in being a dark horse but having to face their toughest test in this Group 1st match up will be difficult for them . Statistics makes me think that Japan comes in well prepared from their friendly games and they way they play . So i will lean towards Japan in this 1st game . While Paraguay may be good , their prepartion warm up doesn't show that they are still well prepared to take on Japan yet .
